Abstract
To study the association between helicobacter pylon(HP) infection and epithelialcell hyperplasia of gastric gland. 138 cases of gastric mucosa from the polymerase chainreaction(PCR) technique and observations of histopathology were performed with PCNAexpression of S-P immuncocy to chemical method and DNA content exanines of Feulgen staining. RESULTS: HP infection and non-HP infection compared with diploid andnear diploid cells reduces and proliferating diploid cell increased, in the chronic superficialgastritis(CSG) and the chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) on the study of the DNA content of cell nucleus. HP infection and non-HP infection compared with increased of positive cells, in the expression of PCNA with S-P immunohistochemical staining CONCLUSION: The degree of the epithelial cell hyperplas of gastric gland was very correlative to HP infection.
