The Value of Fast Staining Cytologic Examination on the Quick Diagnosis of Breast Neoplasm during Operation

Objective fast staining examination of scrape spatula cell for diagnosis of breast neoplasm during operation. Methods Apply eosin methylene blue fast staining cells,to make a diagnosis for the specimen of breast neoplasm while operation is carrying out,the course of production is not more than one minute. Results Use this method to examine 90 cases fast specimen of breast neoplasm during operation,and contrast with pathologic diagnosis.the overall accuracy rate is 98 7%,among them there have 60 cases malignant tumor but have not one pseudo positive,and 29 cases benign tumor have not one pseudo negative,1 cases of undefined was diagnosed mucus adenocarcinoma by pathologic examination. Conclusion This method is used on quick diagnose of breast neoplasm during operation,it have the advantage of rapidness of time.single instrument.convenient manipulation,and high diagnosis accuracy rate,have not pseudo positive and pseudo negative.
