Abstract
The cell proliferative activity of normal, hyperplasia, adenoma and carcinoma in adrenal cortex were detected by using DNA cytophotometry,AgNOR and PCNA staining. The results showed:the average value of DNA contents,AgNOR counts and PCNA LI were no difference between normal and hyperplasia in adrenal cortex( P0 05) .Their DNA ploidy presented mainly diploid.Between adenomas and hyperplasia,3 kinds of average value were significant difference( P0 01 ).The DNA ploidy of adenomas were often diploid and euploid, their AgNOR counts and PCNA LI were small and prognosis were better. In carcinomas,3 kinds of average value remarkably increased( P0 01) .The DNA ploidy presented non euploid(3 cases)and aneuploid(5 cases),the AgNOR counts and PCNA LI of the latter increased, their prognosis were poor. These indicated that cell proliferative activity detection have diagnosis and prognosis value in adrenocortical neoplasms.
