Abstract
Objective:to determine the content of Fumonisin B1 in corn from high risk area of esophageal cancer and compare the content difference between the high risk and the low risk areas of esophageal cancer. Methods :reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector. Results :The positive detection rates of FumonisinB1 in moldy and fine samples were 100% and 90 90%,respectively.The average content of FumonisinB1 in moldy corn samples is 88 90±13 1μg/g,and the apparently healthy corn samples is 1 40±0 50μg/g. Conclusion :The frequency of FumonisinB1 contamination and content in corn from high risk area are very high,it may be involved in etiology of esophageal cancer.
