Investigation of the Mutation of Ras Gene in Gastric Cancer and Their Relation to Helicobacter Pylori(HP) infection

Objective To investigate the mutation of ras gene and their relation to Helicobacter pylori (Hp) in fection. Methods The carcinomatous tissues and serum samples of 43 patients with gastric cancer were studied. The mutation of the NO.12 codon of ras gene was detected by PCR-RFLP. The status of Hp infection was determined by seriological tests. Results 28 of 43 cases had NO.12 codon mutation, its mutation rate was 65.12%.
