Surgical dignosis and treatment for the lung cancer in geriatric patients

Objective To study the experience in diagnosis and treatment of the lung cancer in the old patients . Methods From Aug 1995 to Aug 2000,sixty-four cases were treated surgically because of the lung cancer. Results Pulmonary resection was completed in 59 cases without operative mortality. Postoperatively 62 cases recovered uneventfully except only 2 with respiratory insufficiency.
