Localized resection and pathological biopsy of micro-calcifications in breast

Objective We introduce a localization and biopsy method for detecting micro-calcifications, to obtain histopathological results and to improve the diagnosis of early-staged, non-palpable breast cancer. Methods The micro-calcification loci of 102 patients were localized by 1 to 2 hookwires under X-rays surveillance. The biopsy had been undergone with the guidance of the hookwires.
