Study on the Effect of rBCG-IL-2 on Anti-tumor Growth and Immunine Stimulation

Objective To inquire into the effect of rBCG-IL-2 on tumor growth and immunity after it has been inoculateded in animal. Methods Gene engineering and electric transformation technologies were adopted to construction recombinant BCG,one of which was rBCG-IL-2 strain and the other was rBCG strain.Observe the growth of tumor and determine tumoricidal effect of macrophage after the tumor cells and recombined BCG have been inoculated in mouse in a few weeks. Results rBCG-IL-2 expressed and secreted IL-2 and the count of secreting was about 9.87ng/ml±4.56ng/ml.The anti-growth effects of tumor of rBCG-IL-2 and rBCG were obvious higher than the control. Conclusion rBCG-IL-2 can prevent tumor from growing effectually,active immunity of the host early and enhance cytotoxicity of macrophage obviously.
