Data Analysis of The Third National Retrospective Sampl ing Death Survey Ⅲ:Characteristics of Death of Malignant Tumors of Hubei Population

Objective 　To investigate the characteristics of mortality of malignant tumors and it s dist ribu2 tion among resident s in Hubei Province. Methods 　To analyse the age～, sex～specific and the geography dist ribution of mortality of malignant tumors in Hubei Province with the software provided by Minist ry of Health of The People's Republic of China. Results 　The mortality rate of malignant tumors for male was higher than it for female, the mortality of urban resident s was higher than it of rural resident s. The peak age of mortality rate was the 40～75 years, with a median age of 60 years. Conclusion 　Liver cancer was firstly ranked among all malignant tumors. It dist ributed mainly in rural areas. And lung cancer mainly located in urban areas.
