Abstract
Objective To study the expression of p2Ser1182ERα,ERα,PR of tissue in breast cancer by im2 munohistochemist ry and the relationship s among them. To explore the relationship between the expres2 sion of p2Ser1182ERα and the therapeutic efficacy of tamoxifen. Methods The expressions of p2Ser1182 ERα,ERα,PR in 70 breast cancer tissues were examined by immunohistochemist ry. The correlations a2 mong them were analyzed and the relationship between the expression of p2Ser1182ERαand the therapeutic efficacys of tamoxifen was analyzed by Kaplan2Meier. Results A significant correlation was found be2 tween the expression of p2Ser1182ERαand the expression of ERα (Spearman r = 0. 348, P = 0. 003) . A sig2 nificant correlation was also found between the expression of p2Ser1182ERα and the expression of PR in breast cancer (Spearman r = 0. 241 P = 0. 044) . Kaplan2Meier outcome analysis showed that patient s with positive p2Ser1182ERα had a longer disease2f ree survival than those with negative p2Ser1182ERα ( P = 0. 013) . And patient s with positive p2Ser1182ERαhad a longer disease2f ree survival than those with neg2 ative p2Ser1182 ERα ( P = 0. 021) among the cases with positive PR. Conclusion The examination of p2 Ser1182 ERαand PR maybe a precise biomarker to evaluate the efficacys of tamoxifen.
