  • Objective To study the effect and toxicity of biochemical modulation regimen MTX/5-FU/DDP(MFP)in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. Methods From June 1998 to June 2000,42 patients were treated with TMX/5-FU/DDP(MFP) regimen. Results The total response rate was (CR+PR)47.6% for 42 patients. The response rate for chemotherapy-naive patients and patients who had received chemotherapy were 66.7%, 37.04% respectively ( P <0.05).
