The Differences on the Expression of p19~(ARF) and p16~(INK4a) in Human Osteosarcoma

  • Objective To elucidate the differences in tumor genesis, progression on the expression of p19~ ARF and p16~ INK4a in human osteosarcoma. Methods Paraffin embedded surgical specimens from 37 cases of human osteosarcoma are used to detect p19~ ARF and p16~ INK4a proteins by monoclonal indirect immunofluorescence method. Results p16~ INK4a protein was detected in 21 of 37( 56.8% ) cases in human osteosarcoma, p19~ ARF protein was detected in 15 of 37( 40.5% ) cases in human osteosarcoma. No significant correla...
