Quantif ication of O-Phospho-L-tyrosine Protein( PTPr) in the Sera of Respiratory Patients

  • Objective The quantities of serum Phospho-L-tyrosine protein ( PTPr) in groups of respiratory patient s and it s value were studied. Methods An EL ISA was applied to detect serum PTPr of the groups of patient s, and then the result s of each group were statistically analyzed and compared. Results The serum PTPr in lung cancer group was (36. 4 ±27. 8) ng/ ml ; 36 (66. 7 %) in the 48 cases were positive (PTPr > 30ng/ ml) ; and the both were significantly higher than those in the following groups ( P <0. 001) . The PTPr amount s and positives in pneumo2tuberculosis, pneumonia and other respiratory diseases groups were respectively (7. 9 ±14. 1) ng/ ml and 8. 3 %(4/ 48), (11. 6 ±16. 6) ng/ ml and 7. 1 %(4/56), and (8. 1 ±15. 6) ng/ ml and 7. 4 %(4/ 54) . Conclusion In lung cancer patient s the serum PTPrwere increased evidently ; it suggested that the activation of signaling molecules be enhanced in lung cancer cell generation and growth, and assaying PTPr may be of value in lung cancer diagnosis.
