Docetaxel in Combination with 5-Fluorouracil and Cisplatin for Advanced Gastric Cancer

Objective 　To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of domestic Docetaxel in combination with Calcium Folinate/ 5-Fluorouracil and Cisplatin on advanced gastric cancer. Methods 　Forty-one patients with advanced gastric cancer were treated by Docetaxel 75 2/7 on d1, Calcium Folinate 100mg on d1～5, 5-Fluorouracil 00mg/ m² on d1～5, Cisplatin 25mg/ m² on d1～3, with 28 days one cycle. The efficacy and adverse effect were evaluated after two cycles. Results 　Forty-one patients can be included for response rate. 2 showed complete response and 23 partial responses with an overall response rate of 61. 0 %(25/ 41) . Median time to progression was 7. 5 months, and 12year survival rates was 41. 5 % with median survival time of 10. 6 months. The main dverse effect was myelosuppression, alopecia and peripheral neuritis. Conclusion 　The regimen of domestic Docetaxel combined with Calcium Folinate/ 5-Fluorouracil and Cisplatin for patients with advanced gastric cancer produced high response rate and its toxicity is well tolerable.
