Expression and Their Clinical Significance of cyclin D1, and p57 ^KIP2 in Invasive Duct Carcinoma of the Breast

Objective 　To study the expression cyclinD1, and p57^KIP2 in invasive duct carcinoma ( IDC) and their clinical significances. Methods 　In 64 IDC, 15 ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and 15 adjacent normal breast tissues, the expression of cyclinD1, and p57 ^KIP2was detected respectively by immunohistochemical SP methods. Results 　The expression of cyclinD1 and p57^KIP2 between IDC and breast different tissues, and axilliaris lymph node metastasis, and expression of cyclinD1 and histological grade of IDC had significant difference ( P ≤0. 05, P < 0. 01) . There was negative relationship between expression of cyclinD₁ and p57 ^KIP2( P < 0. 01) . Conclusion 　cyclinD₁ and p57 ^KIP2may play an important role in the mammary tissue carcinogenesis and progression of breast carcinoma. The abnormal expression of cyclinD₁ was early event of breast carcinoma. The combined detection of cyclinD₁ and p57^KIP2has positive effects on predicting the lymph node metastasis in breast carcinoma.
