MTS1/p16 gene deleton and 5 CpG island methylation in Renal cell carcinoma

Objective To study MTS1/p16 gene deletion and 5 CpG island methylation in renal carcinoma. Methods The p16 gene deletion and 5 CpG island methylation were determined in renal carcinoma by PCR techanique. Results The MTS1/p16 gene deletion and 5 CpG island methylation rates in renal carcinoma were 21.21%(7/33)and 30.30% (10/33) respectively. Conclusion 1.
