  • Objective To investigate the effects of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and its antibody on xenograft bladder tumor in nude mice and elucidate their mechanisms. Methods The animal model of xenografted bladder cancer of EJ cell line was established in 40 nude mice and was randomly divided into following groups: bFGF group and control group, anti-bFGF antibody group and control group. The expressions of PCNA and microvessel density (MVD) in tumor tissue were assayed by immunohistochemistry.
