Microvascular density and DNA ploidy in carcinoma of prostate in relation to clinic-biological behavior

Objective To determine the relationship between these biologic markers and tumor grade and stage and prognosis of the carcinoma. Methods 30 cases of prostatic carcinoma (PC)and 30 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) were studied on DNA ploidy and microvascular density (MVD) with computer assisted image analysis and immunohistochemistry (SP).
