  • Objective To explore the diagnostic and prognostic criteria of mesenchymal spindle cell tumor of rectum. Methods In addition to light microscopic observations,the expression of Vimentin,Actin,Desmin,S-100 and CD34 were detected by immunohisto-chemical stain in 15 cases of mesenchymal spindle cell tumor of rectum. Results Out of 15 cases tumors,2 cases were benign tumors and 13 cases were malignant tumors.The average diameter of tumors was 6.8cm.The average mitotic count was 8/10HPF,and it increased with gra...
