Malignancies of the urological system following renal transplantation (report of 6 cases and review of the literature)

Objective To investigate the development of malignancies of the urological system after renal transplantation. Methods A retrospective study of 1096 renal transplantations undertaken between 1991 and 2001 was carried out. Results Six patients ( 0.55%) exhibited cancer of the urological system.
