Experiment Research of Weining Granule on Precancerous Lesions of Gastric Moucose

Objective 　To study the effect s and mechanisms of weining granule on precancerous lesions de2 veloped in gast ric mucose of rate. Methods 　Sixty rat s were randomly divided into six groups, including blank group, model group, retinoicacid group, high2dose weining granule group, middle2dose weining graunle group and low2dose weining granule group. General conditions, the pathological changes in stom2 ach, telomerase activity, proliferation index ( PI), apoptosis index ( A I) were measured. Results 　General conditions, such as activity and eating were improved in all weining granule groups. IM, ATP and telomer2 ase activity were markedly decreased compared with model group. Incidences of PI and A I in all weining gronule group were markedly decreased than that in the cont rol group ( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01 ) ; Conclusion 　It was suggested that weining granule could t reat precancerous lesions by suppressing telom2 erase activity and gast ric epitheliums proliferation and accelerate cell apoptosis.
