Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of ΔNp73 and the invasive2 ness of human colon cancer. Methods This study we used LOVO cell, a kind cell of human colon cacino2 ma cell, as the study objective. ΔNp73 was t ransferred into LOVO cell by liposome. The effect of ΔNp73 gene on cell growth was detected by t rypan blue counter measurement, cell growth curve and flow cytomet ry, and invasive ability was assessed with Boyden chamber. Western2blot were employed to de2 tect the expression of VEGF. Results The growth of LOVO2ΔNp73 cells were significantly increased, the invasive cell number was significantly larger in LOVO2ΔNp73 cells than in unt ransfected LOVO cells and LOVO2pcDNA3 。The expression of VEGF in theΔNp732LOVO was significantly higher than in un2 t ransfected LOVO cells ( P < 0. 01) . Conclusion The overexpression of ΔNp73 promote the proliferation and vessel growth increase the ability of invasion of human colon cancer.
