Abstract
Objective To analye the t reatment of locally advanced non2small cell lung cancer in the 70 years old and over to research the possibility of combined therapy. Methods Sixty2one cases with locally advanced non2small cell lung cancer were over 70 years old and 75 cases with locally advanced non2small cell lung cancer were younger than 70 years old whose result s were analyzed. Results Of the over seventy years old patient s, the median survival time was 18 months, and the 1, 3, 5 year overall survival rates was 78. 15 %, 18. 47 %and 10. 39 %; The median survival and the 1 、3 、5 year overall survival rates of the < 70 years old patient s were 19 months and 69. 44 %, 18. 27 %, 8. 08 %. The survival rates were similar in two groups. Toxicity was similar except leucopenia in two group s. Conclusion There is no standard method for elderly patient s with locally advanced non2small cell lung cancer. It is feasible to take the t reatment of radiotherapy combined chemotherapy .
