  • Objective To explore the relationship between B-cell lymphomas of gastrointestinal tract and bcl-2 protein expression, Epstein-Barr virus infection. Methods The expression of bcl-2, LMP-1 protein and EBV encoded EBER1/2 were detected by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization respectively. Results Overexpression of bcl-2 protein was seen in 13 of 16 cases(81.3%),including all of 7 cases of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue-type low-grade B-cell lymphoma.
