The Effectt of High Dose of HASL Instillation Intrapl eural in Malignent Pleural Effusion

Objective In order to study the effect of high dose of HA SL instillation intrapleural on malignant pleural effusion. Methods 6 0 cases of malignant pleural effusion were divided randomly into two groups whic h were treated separately with High Agglutinitive Straphy Lococcin (HASL) or Adr iamycin (ADM) and Cis-Diaminodichloroplatin (DDP) instillation intrapleural. Results The total effective rate of HASL is 83%,and that it of ADM is 37%.The difference between the two groups is very significant.No serious poiso ning and side effects have been found. Conclusion It is suggested tha t the effect of high dose of HASL is better than that of ADM
