Expression of CD44v6 and p16 gene in papillary thyroid carcinoma studied by in situ hybridization

Objective To investigate the correlation of CD44v6 and p16 gene expression with the potential of invasion and metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC). Methods In situ hybridization method was used to detect CD44v6 mRNA and p16 mRNA expression in 46 cases of PTC.
