Expression of cyclooxygenase-2 in human colonic tumors and its relationship to cell proliferation

Objective To detect the expression of cyclooxygenase 2 (COX 2) in human colonic adenomas and cancers, and its relationship to cellular proliferation. Methods Immunohistochemistry was performed by using avidin biotin peroxidase complex procedure.
