  • Objective To study the expression of CD44v5+ cells in different tissue of patients with gastric carcinoma. Methods The percentage of CD44v5+ cells was measured and analyzed in cancer nests, para cancer tissue, cancer metastasis lymph nodes and peripheral blood cells of patients with gastric carcinoma by flow cytometry. Results The percentage of CD44v5+ cells in tissues and peripheral blood of gastric carcinoma were significantly higher than those of normal control ( P < 0.05 and P < 0.01 )...
