Significance of c-erbB-2 Expression and Neuroendocrine Differentiation in Non-small CellLung Carcinoma

Objective 　To investigate significance of c-erbB-2 expression in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) with neuroendocrine (NE) differentiation. Methods 　32 cases of NSCLC were studied with conventional histopathological and immunohistochemical stains. Results 　There were 75 % cases of 32 NSCLC with NE. Remarkable difference was found in c-erbB-2 expression in NSCLC with NE and without NE. Conclusion 　Neuroendocrine differentiation of NSCLC is a st rongly close correlated with c-erbB-2 expression and Neuroendocrine differentiation of NSCLC can be the prognostic factor.
