  • Objective To evaluate the efficiency of hepatic arterial chemoembolization (HACE) for huge liver cancer. Methods Forty-six cases with huge liver cancer performed with hepatic arterial chemoembolization were reviewed.The diameters of the tumors were from 12cm to 19cm with a average diameter of 13.73±1.27cm.Thirty-five cases were treated with HACE through trans-femoral-artery-catheter.Other eleven cases treated with HACE through laparotomy.Every case was accepted one to six (2.4 in average) treatments of ...
