Abstract

Objective To investigate the mechanism,Diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of multiple primary cancers (MPC) to make improvement of diagnosis and treatment. Methods A total of 45 patients with two primary cancers admitted from 1988 to 1994 were analyzed retrospectively. Results These cases accounted for 1.14% of all the radiotherapy patients in the same period.With sex ratio of male and female 2.5∶1.The onset age of the two primary cancers was mainly centered around 40~60 years,accounted for 73.3% and 66.7%.A l...
