  • Objective To evaluate the result of Boost for local residual of nasopharyngeal carcinoma to radiotherapy. Methods From November 1975 to December 2000, 442 patients with carcinoma of nasopharynx received curative radiotherapy while 87 patients keep local residual after curative treatment. For local residual, 60 patients delivered boost with external radiotherapy;19 patients with external radiotherapy and intracavitary brachytherapy;9 patients with conformal radiotherapy.
