Objective To study the effect of stage, Iymph nodes and therapy methods on the survival rate for breast cancer after radical operation. Methods Treatment results were compared between 110 stage Ⅱ and 90 stage Ⅲ breast cancers who received postoperative radiotherapy(RT),Chemotherapy (CT)and chemotherapy plus radiotherapy (CRT) in our department. Results The local recurrence rates for stage Ⅱ and stage Ⅲ with RT group and CRT group compared with CT group have significance (P<0.05).Distance metastasis rates for stage Ⅲ patients with CT group and CRT group compared with CT group have significance (P<0.05).The 5-year survival rates for patients with ≥4 positive axillary's Iymph nodes in stage Ⅱ decrease (P<0.05),The 5-year survival rates of stage Ⅲ breast cancer declined gradually with increase of the N. Conclusion Postoperative RT of breast cancer could reduce the local recurrence rates.Postoperative CT for stage Ⅲ breast cancer could reduce distance metastasis rates.Axillary's Iymph nodes effect on the 5-year survival rates.
