A fast method to determine serum gangliosides and its primary application

Objective To establish a fast method to determine gangliosides (GLS) and its clinical value. Methods The serum glycolipids were extracted and the specific glycoside on gangliosides was reacted with resorcin-HCl and assayed with spectrophotometer. Results The serum GLS of healthy people was (581±90)mg/L.
