Abdominal Wall Desmoid Tumor-A Report of 53 Cases

Objective To evaluate the clinical feature and treatment of abdominal wall desmoid tumor. Methods We conducted a retrospective study of 53 patients Surgical treated from 1964 through 1997. Results of the 53 patients,32 cases were wide excision,19 cases were redical dissection.1 cases received radiotherapy in addition in surgery.The total local recurrence rate was 20.8%, the recurrence rate was 3.8% in those who received their treatment in our hospital.
