Abstract
Objective To investigate the function and mechanism of colorectal neoplasia differentially expressed (CRNDE) in glioma cell line. Methods After transfected with CRNDE siRNAs, cell proliferation of glioma cell line U87 was assessed by CCK8 assay and cell migration was performed using Transwell assay. We also used real-time PCR assays to detect the downstream genes expression. Results The abilities of cell proliferation and migration were decreased in siRNA-transfected glioma cell lines. The expression of the key kinases (Raf1, MEK2, ERK1, ERK2) and transcription factors (c-Myc, NF-κB) in MAPK/ERK pathway were down-regulated. Conclusion CRNDE could enhance the abilities of cell proliferation and migration in glioma through activating related gene expression in MAPK/ERK pathway.
