Clinicopathological Characteristics and Treatment of Primary Cardiac Lymphoma

  • Objective To summarize the clinical manifestation, examination, treatment and prognosis of primary cardiac lymphoma(PCL) in China. Methods Individual patient's data were obtained from defined cases of PCL (1986-2013) and systematically analyzed. Results Immunodeficiency was not mentioned. The most common tumor site that involved was the right atrium. The most common abnormal of ECG was atrioventricular block. UCG was one of the best checking methods and chemotherapy was with well prognosis. Conclusion Primary cardiac lymphoma has no typical symptom and the majority of patients are with advanced lymphoma and poor prognosis. Chemotherapy is relatively better for treatment.
