Advances of IKKε in Tumor

  • IKKε as a latest discovered member of the family of non-canonical IκB kinases(IKK), plays a key role in regulating innate immune response, inflammatory and metabolic diseases. Recently, significant progress has been made in understanding the function and mechanism of IKKε, and we found that it is closely associated with the progress of the tumor and the malignant transformation, and plays a role in carcinogenesis. In this paper, we will review briefly the advanced studies on IKKε gene.
