Abstract
Currently, metastasis is one of the main obstacles for malignancy therapy. Store-operated calcium entry(SOCE) and its main constituent molecules STIM1 and Orai1 are involved in a variety of biological functions, including cell migration and invasion. We reviewed the molecular composition and activation mechanism of SOCE as well as its effects and related mechanism on the metastasis of breast, cervical and liver cancer.
