Clinicopathologica Analysis of Multicentric Breast Cancer Patients with Han and Uygur Nationalities in Xinjiang Area

Objective To approach the clinicopathological characteristcs of multicentric breast cancers patients with Han and Uygur nationalities,and provide basic information for different prevention strategies in Xinjiang Area. Methods A study was conducted for 103 multicentric breast cancers patients with Han and Uygur nationalities confi rmed by pathological information from 2005 to 2012. Results Compared with Han nationality,Uygur patients had characteristics of more times of pregnancy,more number of involved axillary lymph nodes,more of circumferential invasion,larger tumor size and low ratio of the expression of progesterone receptor. Conclusion Multicentric breast cancers patients with Han and Uygur nationalities show different clinicopathological characteristcs in Xinjiang.
