Research Advances in Molecular Mechanism of Oxaliplatin-cetuximab Combination Therapy

  • At present, the oxaliplatin-cetuximab combination therapy has attracted the attention of some largescale clinical trials and basic experiments. Here this mini-review is to elaborate synergism or antagonism mechanism of their co-application from the perspectives of cell cycles, apoptosis, repair of DNA damage and reactive oxygen species formation. The molecular biomarkers to predict combination effect of the two drugs is also discussed.
