Abstract
Objective To profile the miRNA expression pattern between colon cancer tissues and noncancerous tissues surrounding colon cancer. Methods The expression level of miRNAs in tumor and adjacent normal tissue from clinical colon cancer patients without metastasis was detected by Chip-array.The expression level of miRNA was measured by Real-time PCR. Results Down-regulation of 24 miRNAs and up-regulation of 27 miRNAs were identified in tumor tissue compared with adjacent normal tissue. The expression level of miR-145 and miR-143 was significantly down-regulated in tumor tissue, while the expression level of miR-451 was increased in tumor tissue. All results were validated by Real-time PCR. Conclusion The expression profile of miRNA is different between tumor tissue and adjacent normal tissue.Expression level of miR-145 and miR-143 is significantly down-regulated in colorectal tumor, while expression level of miR-451 is increased.
