Clinical Study on Effect of Yanshu Injection in Efficacy Enhancing and Toxicity Reducing of Chemotherapy in Patients with Malignant Tumor

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Yanshu Injection on the efficacy enhancing and toxicity reducing for the chemotherapy in patients with malignant tumor. Methods Eighty-three malignant tumor patients were randomly divided into treated group and control group.In their therapeutic period of chemotherapy， Yanshu Injection was given additionally to the treated group (43 patients)，by intravenous dripping of normal saline once per day for 7d as one course.The control group(40 patients )was given conventional chemotherapy. Results Compared with the control group，the treated group showed a low progressive incidence，less decrease of peripheral WBC and platelet count(P＜0.05). Conclusion Yanshu Injection combined with chemotherapy is effective in improving the therapeutic efficacy,elevating the immune function of organism and lessening the toxicity of medicine.
