ObjectiveTo determine the method of clinical management and pathology for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) Ⅲ. Methods Two hundred and twenty-nine patients with CIN Ⅲ diagnosed and treated with conization and some of them subsequent hysterectomy at Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results Of the 229 patients, there was a correlation in pathology between colposcopy-directed biopsy and conization in 187 cases (81.66%), there was not much correspondence in 42 cases (18.34%).Of the 58 hysterectomy specimen, there was a correlation in 51 cases (87.93%) and 24 csaes (41.38%) with residual CIN in subsequent hysterectomy for positive margin conization,6 cases (12.07%) residual CIN or cancer in subsequent hysterectomy for negative margin conization. Results There is a good correlation between conization margin and subsequent hysterectomy, and a few of residual CIN or cancer cases in subsequent hysterectomy for negative margin conization.
