Expressions and Significance of MMP-3 and VEGF in Gastric Carcinoma

  • ObjectiveTo detect the expressions of MMP-3 and VEGF, and investigate their clinical characteristic in gastric carcinoma. Methods The study included 140 cases of gastric carcinoma as observation group, 140 cases of normal gastric mucosa as control group. The expressions of MMP-3 and VEGF were detected in two groups by FCM.We analyzed the different clinical characteristic in the observation group. Results The higher expressions of MMP-3 and VEGF were found in the observation group than that in the control group. The expressions of MMP-3 and VEGF were obviously significant in differetiation, depth and lymph metastasis. The positive correlation of MMP-3 and VEGF were found in gastric carcinoma. Conclusion The higher expressions of MMP-3 and VEGF can promote the occurrence and development in gastric carcinoma. The combined detection of MMP-3 and VEGF may be help to predict the prognosis in gastric carcinoma.
