Combination Treatment of Surgery and Circular Pleural Hyperthermic Chemoperfusion for Cancerous Pleural Effusion

ObjectiveTo summary the effects of surgery combined with circular pleural hyperthermic chemoperfusion for cancerous pleural effusion. Methods Eleven patients with cancerous pleural effusion received surgery therapy and the following circular pleural hyperthermic chemoperfusion. Clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were studied. ResultsPleural effusions in all patient was effectively controlled. The prognosis and quality of lives were significantly improved. ConclusionThe special multidisciplinary treatment has advantage in patients with cancerous effusion as resulted in increased live quality and good prognosis.
