Abstract
ObjectiveTo study the reduction of VEGF-C expression of MCF-7 cells interfered with lentivirus-mediated small interfering RNA vectors. MethodsLentivirus- mediated small interfering RNA vectors were constructed and transfected into breast cancer MCF-7 cells. Real-time PCR was performed to detect the expression of VEGF-C. The proportion of transfected cells and the knock-down rate of VEGF-C were calculated. ResultsThe transduction rate of Lentivirus-mediated small interfering RNA was more than 80%. mRNA expression of VEGF-C decreased nearly 50%. ConclusionLentivirus-mediated small interfering RNA vectors had a high transfection rate and might reduce the expression of VEGF-C significantly.
