Characteristic of Ultrasonography of Transrectal and Color Doppler for Diagnosing Prostate Carcinoma

Objective To systematically observe and find out the characteristic of ultrasonography for transrectal color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of prostate cancer(PC). Methods Forty-five patients with suspected PC were examined with transrectal color Doppler ultrasound. The method of transrectal ultrasound guided prostate biopsy is systematic 6 point adding suspected nods. The ultrasonography of PC was compared with the pathologic result. Results Among those 19 patients were confirmed PC by pathology. The characteristic echoes of PC: barely 5 cases are mono nod, 14 cases are multi-node and widespread infiltrate. The delimitation of inter-extre gland is clouding, the internal of prostate have the widespread sand granules calcification strong echo. The blood supply mostly increased. Conclusion The PC has some characteristics in ultrasonograph, in diffusion sand granules calcification, when strong echo were found in the background of the widespread echo of no-equal alteration of prostate, the patient is highly suspected for PC.
