Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between the psychosocial factors and ovarian cancer occur rence, and to analyze its nerve-endocrine-immune factors change. Methods 80 patients with ovarian cancer patients and 60 patients with ovarian benign tumor and 60 healthy persons were asked to complete the Life Events Scale (LES),Trait Coping Styles Questionnaire (TCSQ),and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS),and examined the levels of serum CS、NE、IL-2 by mean of ELISA, to analyze the correlation between psychosocial factors and the incidence in patients with ovarian cancer. Results The frequency of negative life events,negative coping style among the patients with ovarian tumor were significantly higher than those of controls. The score of positive coping style and social support were much lower. The levels of serum CS、NE of the patients with ovarian tumor were clearly higher than those of controls,and they are positively correlated with negative events and negative response;but the levels of serum IL-2 were much lower than those of controls, and were negatively correlated with negative events and negative response. Conclusion Negative life events, low social support, poor coping styles can affect the occurrence of ovarian cancer by changing body neuroendocrine and cytokines.
