Expression and Prognostic Relationship of Receptor Tyrosine Kinase in Human Breast Invasive Cancer

Objective To investigate the expression and prognostic relationship of C-Met and RON in human breast invasive cancer. Methods The expression of C-Met and RON in 106 cases of human breast invasive cancer and 30 cases of breast benign tissues was analyzed by using immunohistochemical PV-6000 method. Results The expression of C-Met and RON was significant different between the human breast invasive cancer and breast benign tissues and was positively related to pathological grade, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis.The expression of C-Met、RON and co-expression of C-Met、 RON were negatively related to the survival time of patient.There was a positive correlation between expression of C-Met and RON. Conclusion C-Met and RON involve in the progression、invasion and metastasis of breast cancer. The test with C-Met and RON together can be more effective in prediction of the prognosis of patients, and will provide new therapeutic targets for the treatment of breast cancer.
